Inspired by a hike in a beautiful park called Lions Valley Park in my beloved city of Oakville, Ontario. The sun illuminating the beautiful green canopy on a sunny day. This painting is part of a series called 'Invincible Summer' inspired by a thought by Albert Camus that reminds us that no matter what is happening in this crazy world, we need to always find within our hearts and souls an invincible love, an invincible strength and an invincible summer. Enjoy reading this inspiring quote by Albert Camus:

This work is painted with acrylics on a gallery wrapped canvas (1.5” deep). I continue to paint around the edges as shown in the photos. This painting can be hung on a wall with or without a frame. The painting is signed on the front. The painting comes with hanging wire, ready to be hung. I varnish with gloss varnish.
